For investors

Students want to give. We are removing what stops them.

01The idea

Students who chose Tulane for its culture of service want to give to New Orleans. Most of them do not, and not because they stopped caring. Finding the right organization, seeing that friends give, and giving a small amount without friction are each harder than they should be. Givv removes those three obstacles.

Giving on Givv is social by default. You see who gave and give alongside them. Your squad, a fraternity, a sorority, a club, a class year, gives as one. Every gift lands on a map of the city. The money itself moves through Every.org, so Givv is an engagement layer, not a payments company.

02Why now

For this generation giving is something you do with people, prompted by what you see. It happens on a phone, in small amounts, often. Nonprofits in New Orleans are under-resourced and digitally behind, and almost none of them reach students on their own. Nobody has built the thing that connects the two.
